A Karenni refugee committed suicide with a child
Today a Karenni refugee committed Kantarwaddy Times reported that on 13th July people found a corpse who name is Gar Rah committed suicide in a jungle. It was when his wife had gone to Nan Soi, a thai village. People do not know exactly what reason he came to commit suicide. A refugee security guard, Kuh Mai, said to Kantarwaddy Times that after Gar Rah's wife had gone to work out side of the camp for four days, and he went to meet her for coming back to home but she refuse to come back. Kuh Mai estimated that probably they have economic problem and the reason of resettlement to third countries. One of Gar Rah's neighbor said that Gar Rah wants to take resettlement but his wife does not. After one night of finding Gar Rah's corpse, people found his child who is 5 years old with full of harming on his body still alive, said someone who found the child to Kantarwaddy Times newspaper. The man who found the child think that it might be Gar Rah hit his child and knocked unconscious, and then he committed the suicide. During 2006-2007 there have been 10 people committed suicide in No.1 Karenni refugee camp. Four of them were dead, and the rest are still alive.
